International Merlot Day is celebrated every year on November 7th and we've got delicious Merlot that is grown and produced in Oregon. Next, International Tempranillo Day is celebrated on November 13th, and Oregon also produces some great Tempranillo here locally. We think you will be pleasantly surprised by both of these wines! Merlot is a red wine grape, made famous by the movie Sideways, and is a dry, medium-to-full-bodied wine. It commonly has a soft, "velvety" texture and flavors of plum, black cherry, and chocolate.

RoxyAnn Winery is the best place to drink Rosé in Southern Oregon! Rosé wine gets the distinctive pink color because it is actually made from red wine grapes. Although it is made using red grapes, it is fermented like a white wine. There is just a short period of juice to skin contact to extract the beautiful rose color and then the grape juice is immediately separated from the grape skins so that fermentation can begin.
