Oregon Wine Month Is, First & Foremost, A Celebration!
For the month of May, the whole state of Oregon celebrates the founding of the wine industry in Oregon. Oregon Wine Month offers a unique opportunity to celebrate the rich history and diverse offerings of one of the nation’s most renowned wine regions. Founded in 1966, Oregon’s wine industry has flourished over the decades. We have earned global recognition for exceptional wines and stunning vineyard landscapes. We were even nominated as one of the top five wine regions in the world by Wine Enthusiast! Oregon stands as a beacon of quality and innovation in the world of winemaking.
RoxyAnn Winery, nestled in the heart of the Rogue Valley, holds a pivotal role in that winemaking legacy. As one of the historic wineries of Oregon, we played a significant role in shaping the industry’s trajectory. We consistently produce exceptional wines that receive national recognition and reflect the beautiful terroir of the region.
Transitioning into the month of May, RoxyAnn Winery is proud to present an exciting calendar of events! We invite all wine enthusiasts to indulge in their passion for great wine! We are also using this month to honor some of the individuals who make a difference in our community.
Oregon Wine Month Calendar Of Events:
May 7th: We kick off the festivities with Nurse’s Appreciation Day AND Teacher’s Appreciation Day! We are extending a special 15% discount to all nurses and teachers on glasses and bottles in our Tasting Room. We will also be releasing our delicious new vintage of Sauvignon Blanc!
May 8th and 9th: Our doors are open from 2pm to 7pm and 12pm to 7pm respectively, welcoming visitors to explore our vineyard and sample our exquisite wines.
May 10th: We are hosting a Grand Re-Opening Party at the winery! Join us from 12pm to 7pm as we unveil our renovated spaces and toast to the beginning of a vibrant summer season. Following the celebration, our summer hours will resume, welcoming guests daily from 12pm to 7pm.
