Job Title:             Wine Specialist

Job Purpose:      The Wine Specialist is a key position in the operation of our Tasting Room at RoxyAnn Winery. Encompassing both hospitality and wine sales, this position cultivates long-term customer relationships that generate repeat business, Wine Club membership sign-ups, and brand loyalty. Wine Specialists must be welcoming and professional, with a focus on hospitality and sales. A strong work ethic, ability to multi-task and self-motivate are essential to the productivity of this role. Reporting directly to the Tasting Room Manager, this individual will provide a family-friendly brand experience to our guests through knowledge of the RoxyAnn Winery history and wine collection, and excellent customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for executing the daily operation of the tasting room and its functions.
  • Cash handling and competent operation of POS system.
  • Effectively represent the RoxyAnn brand through personal appearance and demeanor.
    •  Demonstrate ability to use soft-sell tactics to increase wine sales, spend per guest, and Wine Club membership levels.
    •  Greet all visitors warmly, engaging them in the story of the RoxyAnn brand and guiding them through their tasting in a way that furthers their appreciation of our wines.
    •  Ensure that every guest has a memorable wine experience and leaves with a warm impression of our wines and our brand.
    •  Demonstrate outstanding customer service skills, especially when dealing with difficult situations.
    •  Demonstrate proficiency in all systems used in day-to-day Tasting Room operations.
    •  Demonstrate ability to follow policies and procedures, as well as written and verbal instruction.
    •  Opening and closing procedures, which include but is not limited to: food prep, cleaning, stocking, ensuring quality of wines poured, and all items related to Tasting Room operations.
    •  Restocking of wine and merchandise from the cold room into the Tasting Room.
    •  Maintaining the aesthetics of the winery with an eye for detail and cleanliness.
    •  Demonstrate a drive for continuous improvement. Take the lead in deepening your knowledge of our wines, our brand, warm hospitality, and effective sales strategies.

Job Requirements and Experience:

  • Hospitality experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience with a POS system is a plus.
  • Food preparation/handling experience is a plus.
  • Basic computer knowledge required.
  • Must have Food Handler’s Certificate and OLCC Server Permit. Can obtain on the job.
  • 21 years of age of older
  • Able to stand for up to 8+ hours
  • Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work weekdays/weekends between the hours of 10:00 am and 10:00 pm, with flexibility to work occasional holidays.

Job Title: Social Media Marketing Coordinator

Job Purpose:   Looking for a fun, creative, and organized team member to manage the winery’s social media presence, engage with our community and ensure brand consistency and customer loyalty.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Video & Photography
  • Content Calendar Management & Scheduling: Instagram/Facebook
  • Strategy Support: Work closely with Marketing Manager to develop annual plan and event strategy.
  • Trend Monitoring
  • Community Engagement: Respond to all comments and messages in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Paid Ads: Creation, Management, Analytics

Key Competencies:

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Creative with good eye for design
  • Self-Manager

  • Meta Business Suite experience
